Heavy rain, storm surge and typhoon take measures
When the Bureau of Geophysics and Meteorology sends out the following message:
Rainstorm signal:
1. When the rainstorm signal is hoisted, parents decide whether to take the child back to the center, and the center is open normally.
2. Employees follow the guidelines for commuting hours established by nurseries. If you are unable to work on time due to heavy rain, you can ask your supervisor for instructions.
Storm surge warning measures:
-
When the blue or yellow storm surge warning is hoisted, parents can decide whether to take the child back to the nursery; if flooding in the nursery affects the opening, parents will be notified by phone/small arrangements.
-
When the orange or above warning is effective, the nursery will suspend services. If the child is already in the school, parents are requested to pick up the child at the nursery immediately. The Institute will arrange an appropriate number of qualified responsible personnel to stay in the care of the children, and take the necessary safety measures until the children leave.
-
After the orange or above warning is removed, the nursery will reopen after one hour and thirty. Parents will decide whether to take the child back to the nursery. If there is still flooding in the nursery, the parents will be notified via telephone/short message of the arrangement.
-
When the orange or above warning is removed after 1pm, the nursery will not reopen the service.
Typhoon measures:
-
When the Meteorological Bureau hangs the No.1, No.3 typhoon signal or rainstorm signal, the nursery is open as usual, and parents can decide whether to bring their children back to the nursery.
-
When the typhoon signal No. 8 or above is about to be hung, and the child is already in the center, please immediately pick up the child at the nursery. At the same time, the nursery will arrange suitable qualified personnel to take care of the child in the center, and take the necessary safety measures until all children Leave.
-
When the typhoon signal No. 8 is removed, the nursery will reopen at one hour and 30 minutes to resume the custody operation. Parents will decide whether to take the children back to the nursery.
-
When the typhoon signal No. 8 is removed after 1 pm, the nursery will not be reopened on the same day.
